If you have a passion for cultivating plants and want to pursue it as a career, we can provide the necessary training to become a Section Grower in our expansive 25+ acre greenhouse complex. As a Section Grower, you will be responsible for tending to our crops, deciding when and how much to water them, applying fertilizers, and making other necessary adjustments to ensure the highest quality plants are produced and ready to be shipped to our customers across the nation.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and typically prefer to hire full-time employees year-round. However, we may also consider candidates for seasonal full-time work from December through mid-June.

As a Section Grower, your primary goal will be to cultivate each crop according to its unique cultural requirements, consistently producing top-quality plants with minimal losses and maximum efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the growing area to meet our company’s standards for sanitation and organization.

Merchandiser (Seasonal)

Merchandisers are the ambassadors of the Proven Winners brand at local Independent “English Gardens” Garden Centers. Providing an experience to consumers that is “Easy, Successful and Inspiring” is a key goal. Representing Four Star by establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with the staff at the garden center is also instrumental in the success of this valuable position. Tracking inventory and adjusting displays are other major components of the position.

Signature Garden Crew

The Four Star Signature Display Garden located in Carleton, MI is a 1.5-acre garden exclusively dedicated to showcasing the garden performance of Proven Winners, the top plant brand in the US. The garden serves as a living catalog of Proven Winners plants, designed to help visitors learn the skills and techniques necessary to create successful gardens at home.

We are currently seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic member to join our seasonal on-site garden crew. As a crew member, you will participate in the installation of our annual flower displays, learn about growing and maintaining various types of plants, and perform daily garden maintenance to ensure the garden’s continuous growth and development. In addition, you will interact with visitors, provide customer service, assist with marketing activities such as photoshoots and events, and promote Proven Winners plants.
