What We Offer

  • Compensation:
    • Mileage Rates:
      • 75 CPM for Extended Distance Loads > 400 Miles/day
      • 65 CPM for Regional Loads Between 200 – 400 Miles/day
    • Base Hourly Rate: $27.50/Hr Worked for Less than 200 miles/day
    • Paid Detention at Hourly Rate
    • Safety Bonus – $1,200 paid out quarterly over each year.
  • Signing/Retention Bonus:
    • $8,000 paid out quarterly over the first 12 Months.
  • Home Time Minimums:
    • Peak Season (January–June): Weekly home minimum of two nights, often consecutive.
    • Off Season (July- December): Weekly home minimum of one night, usually more, often consecutive
  • Equipment:
    • Brand New 2022 Freightliner Cascadia Sleeper Tractors and Vanguard Trailers.

  • Requirements:
    • A current CDL Class-A License is required along with the ability to meet DOT regulations for English proficiency.
    • Must have minimum 2-Yrs of verifiable Over-the-Road commercial driving experience.
    • Must have driving record clear of DUI/DWI or reckless driving charges in last five years.
    • Ability to pass DOT drug screening procedures including MVR, PSP, DOT physical, criminal background check.
    • Ability to move/pull carts on 4-wheel castors, weighing over 200 lbs.
    • Willing to assist dock teams with loading and unloading.
    • Lifting up to 35 lbs.

Section Grower

If you have a passion for cultivating plants and want to pursue it as a career, we can provide the necessary training to become a Section Grower in our expansive 25+ acre greenhouse complex. As a Section Grower, you will be responsible for tending to our crops, deciding when and how much to water them, applying fertilizers, and making other necessary adjustments to ensure the highest quality plants are produced and ready to be shipped to our customers across the nation.

Merchandiser (Seasonal)

Merchandisers are the ambassadors of the Proven Winners brand at local Independent “English Gardens” Garden Centers. Providing an experience to consumers that is “Easy, Successful and Inspiring” is a key goal. Representing Four Star by establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with the staff at the garden center is also instrumental in the success of this valuable position. Tracking inventory and adjusting displays are other major components of the position.

Signature Garden Crew

The Four Star Signature Display Garden located in Carleton, MI is a 1.5-acre garden exclusively dedicated to showcasing the garden performance of Proven Winners, the top plant brand in the US. The garden serves as a living catalog of Proven Winners plants, designed to help visitors learn the skills and techniques necessary to create successful gardens at home.

We are currently seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic member to join our seasonal on-site garden crew. As a crew member, you will participate in the installation of our annual flower displays, learn about growing and maintaining various types of plants, and perform daily garden maintenance to ensure the garden’s continuous growth and development. In addition, you will interact with visitors, provide customer service, assist with marketing activities such as photoshoots and events, and promote Proven Winners plants.
